Interview PrepAI is an AI-powered interview preparation platform.

• Account data — Your email address collected via our authentication system at sign-up.
• Resume & job description text — Content you paste or upload for ATS checks and gap analysis. Stored in our database linked to your account so you can view your history.
• Chat messages — Your mock interview conversations, stored per session to support history and analytics.
• Voice audio — Streamed to a third-party transcription service for real-time processing. We do not store raw audio; only the transcribed text is kept.
• Payment data — Payments are processed by our payment provider. We store only your plan type and expiry date. We never see your card number, UPI ID, or bank details.
• Usage data — Session counts, analysis counts, and score history to power your analytics dashboard and streak tracking.

• To provide ATS scoring, gap analysis, coaching, and answer scoring
• To enforce plan-based usage limits and entitlements
• To show you your history, progress, and performance analytics
• To send transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, payment receipts)
• To detect and prevent abuse of the platform
• We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume or chat data to train AI models.

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform, including services for authentication and database storage, AI inference, voice transcription, payment processing, session caching, and cloud hosting. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the service.

Your data may be processed outside India. Each provider maintains appropriate safeguards under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law.

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days. You can clear chat history at any time from the chat interface.

• Correct inaccurate data (edit your display name and avatar from the profile page)
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a machine-readable format

We use only essential cookies — authentication session tokens stored as HTTP-only cookies, and a theme preference stored in localStorage. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Profile avatars are stored in a private storage bucket accessible only via short-lived signed URLs. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0 through trusted identity providers (Google and GitHub). We never have access to your Google or GitHub credentials.

This service is not directed at anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
